and in the documentary of Zeitgeist Addendum toward the end of the movie the "Venus Project" (the city in FL -- NOT the planet) also describes a paradise type life (similar to the one in the book)

so it actually seems to be posible!

With the use of the right technology and cooperation we could realize this type of paradise. And we need to get away from the unsuccessful monetary system.
