Used to have a passion to be a pro runner, then basketball player, then toyed with roullette but never invested much time or money and faced the reality of the math beating you in the long run, short term wins are fun though, now sharpening my poker knowledge on the side as a hobby, had to drop out of SIU because of heart, circulation, and nervous system issues I still have as of 10-4-2011. I had set a challenge for myself to train for the 100m dash and attempt to at least run in some open college races. I was so motivated at the beginning and after watching footage of Usain Bolt, standing at 6'5" and destroying the competition and records, I envisioned myself at 6'8" and still having some running fibers in my being crying to get out again, possibly taking a stab at breaking 10 seconds if trained and dieted properly. My health has held me back so much. I cannot stand for more than an hour before my symptoms kick in. I have applied for disability, but at the same time I started running 5k's on my own, a few times a week. My PR in high school was 17:12, now I'm between 21-22 mins. Currently living in a Veteran's home at age 26! Everything is free, so would normally be a great opportunity to make money and save, just have to find a close by sit down job. Have a $20,000 college debt, cosigned by my parents lingering over me at the same time. If I can't pay $300 a month, then my mom sacrifices a good chunk of her income. It hurts anytime she does that for me. I must find a way to take care of things.
