@FLJBeliever1776 None of the heavy German warships were sunk during the war by US submarines, though the British subs got one of the light cruisers (Karlsruhe), and torpedoed but failed to sink several of the larger ships.
The Norwegians, however, torpedoed and sank the heavy cruiser Blucher.
