What Are Tentpoles?

If you look at life like a giant tent, then you will see the importance of tent poles. When putting up the tent, the tent poles could be joyous and filled with happiness and excitement, or cumbersome and very frustrating to deal with. Yet without tent poles, there is no tent. Tent poles are the backbone and the main structure of the tent. With that in mind, just about every major event in life will create some sort of a tent pole.
