This song was inspired by Dorothy Sloop. A famous Jazz musician who is from my home town of Steubenville, OH. 1913-1998 Would make since that Ohio State would use the song since she was from Ohio.

My high school is located in Steubenville, Ohio and our football team is called Big Red. Our band still plays this song every Friday night and while singing it we replace "Rock and Roll Rock" with "Roll Red Roll." What a great song!

@x0lovelyx0elle Good idea! My high school Steubenville Big Red did. lol Our band director graduated from Ohio University.They do it exactly like that. I wouldn't say it is stealing if your in high school just prepares them for the college level bands.
