Mitch Friedman and Brandelyn Jokiel are Co-Founders and Co-Directors of Mind Over Matter, LLC a Santa Fe-based company that helps people utilize creative mind power to overcome obstacles and lead happier, healthier and more productive lives. As Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and some of the Southwests leading authorities in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Mitch and Brandelyn have helped thousands of individuals use the power of their minds to enhance their quality of life and achieve both their personal and professional goals.

Mitch and Brandelyn are experienced lecturers and sought-after speakers who have taught hundreds of other professionals in thier industry. Both Mitch and Brandelyn spent time as Associate Hypnotherapy Instructors and Practical Skills Coaches at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, and they currently teach through the University of New Mexico Continuing Education Service. In addition, Brandelyn spent more than a decade working as a corporate trainer for some of the regions top companies and continues to provide her insight and strategies to companies and individuals throughout the Southwest through Mind Over Matters popular public workshop and Workplace Wellness forums. Mitch has helped countless companies motivate their employees and reach their sales goals. Most recently, on June 24, 2009 they presented the program Transforming Relationships With Ailing Parents at Sandia National Laboratories.

In addition to running their own private hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming practices in Santa Fe, Brandelyn and Mitch are the co-creators/co-hosts of Mind Over Matter TV a public access television program focusing on the mind and how people can gain what they want in life through creative mind power and mind strategies. As co-hosts, Brandelyn and Mitch provide important insight and strategies to thousands of people each week on a variety of topics focusing on the power of the mind including stress reduction through relaxation techniques, pain management techniques and the use of positive self-talk to help overcome obstacles and barriers to success. The show, which airs on Saturday nights in Albuquerque and has also attracted a strong international following via You Tube and live streaming webcasts, attracts thousands of viewers each week, and enables Brandy and Mitch to reach a continuously expanding audience with their messages.

Brandelyn, who entered the field of hypnotherapy after witnessing the dramatic positive results that hypnotherapy had in helping her daughter overcome severe sleep problems, has brought her message of health, wellness and creative mind power to many individuals and organizations throughout the region, as well as nationwide. She assisted a Special Operations Soldier with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and phantom pain resulting from the loss of his legs, and then went on to help soldiers nationwide through a position with Enable America. As a Wellness Coordinator for the Enable Americas VetConnect Program, Brandelyn has traveled across the country helping wounded soldiers in their rehabilitation and assisting them in their reorientation into their communities. Her work with Enable America has helped countless wounded veterans reconnect with their bodies, their communities and the world around them helping to improve the quality of their lives.

Fascinated with the power of the mind since childhood, Mitch has spent his entire life involved in the study of the mind. After witnessing the results of positive affirmations and the power of the mind in his own life, Mitch went on to not only study hypnotherapy and mind power, but to become a leader in the field. His work in this area, prior to launching his own practice and founding Mind Over Matter, includes having spent a number of years working at Brain Sync a leading developer of brain wave therapy programs. He also spent a number of years working with Santa Fe Cares a local hospice program. At Santa Fe Cares, he worked with patients with serious illnesses showing how the mind really affects the body, and helping patients use the power of their mind and positive affirmations in dealing with/managing their illness.

Mitch and Brandelyn are co-creators of a series of Creative Mind Power CDs and DVDs and have authored a number of articles on the topic of the power of the mind and various topics in stress reduction, meditation and relaxation techniques.
