I'm a video editing-tinkerer who likes to explore and remix SHAPES, lines, forms. From raw footage, noise, whatever looks interesting enough for me. I don't post enough of my material here somehow.
"Briotron" is the vj/stage name I came up with a long time ago when I started doing visuals around Seattle. I used to do a lot more 'tronic'-looking video. Now I usually aim to do more puzzling, hopefully mesmerizing video. Op-art in motion is kind of what I'm all into for now. "Hypercolor" is the name I've given for 'colors' that are actually combinations of color that cycle so fast that they come together as one color of many. A lot like colors that you experience when you shut your eyes, hypercolor the mind conjures up sometimes in forms 'on' the back of your eyelids.
Other video here is video I shot in Seattle of fun spontaneous things I've come across in the streets. I'm all for 'taking back the streets' for public space and i think our cities need to start shutting down streets more often for pedestrians, bicyclists, parties and recreational activities.
