@MarkB1ngham To be fair, ratings were falling and the last few years were pretty shit. A number of the original writers had left by the time of the 1992 election, and the show had started to become more celebrity focused and less biting. Still a great loss, though, I agree.

Out of interest, do you still support the Lib Dems, now that their true motivations (power and the return of 19th century Classical Liberalism) have become clear? Where do you stand on them u-turning on all of their major policies (tuition fees, Trident, the VAT rise and PR)?
