Use a double push. Push with your back leg as hard as you can (like a sprinter out of the block). Then push with the other leg (like a sprinter with his first stride). You should literally "run over" your opponent and knock him down if your punch misses.

Video is misleading. Penn was not a white belt BJJ at this time, which is implied by the video. Penn did not win the tournament, which implies that he did lose to another Judo player. But the video conviently omitted that segment.

They sure do TKD different than they do it in the US. Seems like all martial arts gets watered down by the time they get ot the US.

No one notices his hand speed? I'm confident that had he been born in the West and never seen Karate, he still could have had a very successful career in boxing.

It's scarry how fast these UFC professional fighters lasted in the sims. I didn't think that the UFC fighters would win. But I didn't expect them to lose so fast. I don't think any of the fights lasted more than 10 seconds.

This is the exact type of bullshit that is destroying traditional martial arts and making us look like monkeys.

Turning your fist realigns the knuckles and protect the hand from breaking from a mistrike. Fist turning adds little or nothing to power.

Not sure what the hell the rules were. Take downs were ok. Knees were ok. But why the hell did the referee break them immediately when they clash? They never even got to the clinch before the referee saved Na Shun.

2. Think about grabbing with the off hand before striking.

3. Don't step. Push off the ground and lunge into the target.

4. Don't punch. Stab with your fist.

Nope. Small joint (finger) manipulations are against MMA rules for safety reasons. So no Aikido players will be joining Machida in the near future.
