Brent Gee is a exciting and passionate performer whom writes melodies and lyrics that will send you into a state of nirvana.
Performing solo acoustically since 2003, Brent has performed in the local and national scene from small coffee shops and bars to large clubs and festivals. Influenced by many acoustic styles, Brent credits his sound, ideas, and inspirations to acoustic acts such as Howie Day, Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), Secondhand Serenade, Dashboard Confessionals, and Aaron Lewis (Staind).
"It would be hard to narrow down my sound to one genre because I am influenced by many styles of music from classic rock, modern rock, blues, reggae, and funk." says Brent. He goes on to say "when performing, I enjoy playing a upbeat party tune then switching gears to a ambient or melodic feel to create that emotional roller coaster to the performance".
Brent is currently in the process of recording his debut EP "Willow" to be released in the beginning of 2012.
"It has been difficult funding the project, but when it is all completed, it will be worth the wait".
His single "Eraser" is featured on Cities 97 (Minneapolis, Minnesota radio station) and iHeartradio for online streaming. Self-promoting, agent, composer, and artist currently resides in the Minneapolis area, actively traveling and performing.
