Freezing them for 5-10 mins will not spoil the meat in any way. it will settle/numb the nerves making it easier to kill. the spine is the key. they have no brain or main artery.

and some fish, the nerves and joints react to the salt or soy sauce (which has salt) or other chemicals and potent seasoning. this results in jumping tentacles, spasming muscles, opening mouth, moving claws etc. But always always freeze ur seafood. It keeps in fresh whilst u boil the pot/pan.

u put any living creature in the freezer. they usually die (seafood) very quickly. just dnt keep checking it. it will heat up n stay alive. that way they just go to sleep. dnt stab it all over. u can tell it is in pain. it may not have a voice but it can still feel pain. like every other living c...
