About Me:
Hometown:
the Hellmouth
Country:
United States
Occupation:
under construction
Companies:
coming soon
Interests:
Movies, tennis, pc adventure games - the Longest Journey, Still Life, Syberia/Benoit Sokal, Pikmin, Indigo Prophecy, Moment of Silence, and any well written adventure game. Music, music, music, writing, drawing, and raising pet humans! Hope to understand Japanese language among others. I love building my own computers when I can. Oh, and I love my Sennheiser headphones!
Movies:
Heroes, King of the Hill, the Simpsons, Fight Club, foreign films, John Waters, the Matrices, anything DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, 80s classics, Donnie Darko, Ed Furlong, Ed Norton, Denzel Washington (remember Virtuosity?), Sin City, Firefly (anything Joss Whedon), Weeds, Depp, Star Trek, Vincent D'Onofrio (esp. in the Cell), Strange Days (juliet lewis, ralph fiennes), Carrie (I found it to be completely horrifying from the religious angle), the Forsyte Saga, Fingersmith, But I'm a Cheerleader, V for Vendetta, Total Eclipse, and that one with Bardem. Currently catching up on the 24 and loving it. Watching shows/films on Netflix is an addiction! And True Blood makes me hot!
Music:
The Widdler, Silverchair, Schubert, classical (prefer strings over piano), Tool (Maynard), Bjork, Dead Can Dance, old Prince, r&b, hiphop (depending on the music used and lyrics...I'm really picky about music), relaxing jazz (like the kind they play on the Weather Channel), The Cure, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, The Doors, 60s, 70s, 80s, old punk (like on Decline of the Western Civilization), Dead End, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Daft Punk, Orbital, Deftones, AAF, (and recently) Opeth, and so much more. I can always listen to Presets, Orgy's first two, and always Queens of the Stone Age. I think a person's musical tastes reflect their depths or their limitations. I can't imagine listening to one type of music the short time I've got on Earth! I usually get along best with people who like the widest varieties of things. Not easy to find in the good ol' US!
Books:
Wish I was a kid for a year just to catch up on reading. Too busy, but I'm attempting to read when I'm not writing myself. Added a second bookshelf... Picture of Dorian Gray, Harry Potter, the Artist's Way, To Kill a Mockingbird, some Chomsky, Anne Rice, and His Dark Materials. I used to read mostly books about animals, bugs, space, earth with my son... really fun, but it's nice getting to read from my collection finally. Trying to find time to read Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

Also, I think I'll return the favour and sub - interesting mix here, will keep as reference.
Happy New Year and best wishes in general.
(Oh, right: and good luck with your pet human project... PHP?... Best of luck and a HNY to them as well!)
God bless.
