Since its inception by legendary drum & bass pioneers Adam F and DJ Fresh, Breakbeat Kaos has been the most successful independent purveyor of bass music that recent times have seen. Having lead the way and broken the burgeoning careers of so many artists there's no arguing the importance that Breakbeat Kaos has had in shaping the modern day musical landscape that we know today. With a discography consisting of Brookes Brothers, Pendulum, Nero, Chase & Status, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Camo & Krooked, Sigma, DJ Fresh and Adam F amongst others it seemed only apt that the BBK crew should put together the first in a series of brand new digital only compilation albums to showcase just some of the many highlights the label has seen over the past 8 years.
