About this user

The Bread of Life Chorale was founded in August 2008 by a group of friends who sung together at the CFC Ministry, South Auckland chapter. Meeting one evening in Auckland, they decided to form a choir with a goal to further enhance their services to the community through their music.
The next day, the once sleepy Saturday Mass at Sancta Maria Church, Flat Bush, was livened up when 15 people turned up to sing as the mass choir. By the time they left the church that Saturday morning three years ago, they were already called "The Bread of Life Chorale". They have sung committedly for the 9am Saturday mass at Sancta Maria ever since, much to the joy and pleasure of the congregation and have played a big part in transforming the small, quiet mass into a special half-an-hour moment with God. Currently the choir also sings once a month for the 10:30 am Sancta Maria Sunday mass and occasionally performs in venues outside the community. Soon, the group found itself singing for mass services in other churches around Auckland and invited to public and private functions. Now a 20-strong choir under the direction of Nanet Feria as choirmaster, the group has earned a lot of public admiration and has advanced to higher standards over the years. Nevertheless, the driving force behind the choir remains the pleasure and the fun of singing together.
