I think I saw things in both performers that I had not noticed before, thanks for posting it. I'm not confortable choosing one over the other as they are both essential listening in my upbringing and are endless wells of inspiration.

That's an awesome rendition, I've watched old pirated video concert footage that shows Vito playing that end part in pull offs instead of tapping as well. It works great either way, which is why in part it's such a great song.
