RIP Maurice Andre--& THANK YOU; your near perfect trumpet playing was an inspiration to so many of us trpt players & students across the globe. I was honored to have met you in Munich in '88; I have a photo with you posted on my website & your concert program framed on my practice room wall. You were also so supportive towards my own playing. You will not be forgotten & I will pass your legacy on to my kids; please know that they are already listening to many recordings of your beautiful music.
