For the record, I've never had lag issues while playing offline on a PS3 (even splitscreen). And in The Gully, the NPCs definitely come get you if you try to hide out on that sniper platform. Maybe it was patched?

When the IGN reviewers compain about framerate, what platform are they using to play this game? I've played Borderlands on 3 different PS3 consoles, and not once had a framerate issue while playing offline, even splitscreen.
