The Police and Fire Games held at the Harbour Fitness Club on September 17th was a fantastic powerlifting meet. Many thanks to Rich Machell, Ed Jouwstra, Kari Suutari, Bruce McIntyre from the CPF, and all the loaders, spotters, coaches, and world-class lifters like Jay Nera, Willie Albert, and Mark Griffin - who gave me great assistance and advice with my bench-shirt! Lots raised for the Special Olympics and even more to go towards the fight against ALS! A great job by all. Hope to have another one so close to home again, soon.

The 2011 CPF Pro/Am at Montreal Barbell was a great meet. A fantastic powerlifting gym with a solid atmosphere and some of the strongest pro and amateur lifters on the planet. The help and advice I received on some techniques and shirt-wear will definitely carry me to much bigger and better lifts. Thanks to all.
