It's really dumb. But it's still better than the Remake trend. God forbid all remakes to be done. Some old movies are still safe from the remake plague, such as Exorcist, Jaws, The Godfather, Hellraiser, Gremlins & Back to The Future. But in time, they will probably as well get butchered by either Michael Bay or someone else idiot who think remake good old classics is a good idea.
