Welcome to the Official BP Summer Big Screens YouTube Channel. Here you will find an assortment of 40SECFILMS sent in by the public. The briefs have been to create a film which was an interpretation of the classic, Romeo & Juliet and Ondine. This year the brief is to create an interpretation of Carmen.

The generous ongoing support of BP has allowed ROH to reach as many people as possible around the country with live performances, allowing them to experience the very best of opera and ballet in their home town, for free.

Some of the best entries will be screened at all of our BP Summer Big Screen locations across the UK which include:

Aberdeen, Bristol, Derby, Dover, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Plymouth, Sunbury, Swansea, Swindon and Waltham Forest.
