Eheheheeh....as I told you yesterday,....I will be more secure...tomorrow evening after ECMWF 12Z run ;-)))....for now....I am enjoying the maps....something I never seen since 1985....here in Italy we, snow-lovers, are literally speechless!!....and yes, for us...romans...is the perfect configuration....now...you know that when the forecast is so good...you start to have e terrible fear that something could change...:-)).....oh, I can understand you, Ytzac, in your shoes I could be envious, too ;-)))...but I could feel only sound envy, my friend ;-))))
Any way, jokes apart, we will see....I am a bit scaramantic and perfectionist...I am waiting to be 72 hours far from the 1st February before to jump for the joy....I can say we are on the right path...for now...

Ciao Ytzac, I was going to write you, for weather and also for telling you that I am "feeling" so much the "Memory Day",...you forwarded me :-))....I have to be honest....here in Italy we, snow lovers, are still astonished for the weather maps today. Yes, now the GM are becoming a little bit more stable and the "Wejkof bridge" appears as something more likely...we, are very, very, very cautios, you know better than me that too many things still could change....the next 48 hours will be fundamental to confirm or not this scenery, as fixed toaday.... any way...my friend, I will never forget the emotion of looking at maps like those, our exchange of messages, and your empathy, sign of true friendship :-))

Dear Ytzac, what amazes me about you is the fact that you know PERFECTLY the "ingredients" for snowfalls not for Italy in general, but the ones good for Rome !! :-))
Yes, yes, you correctly described that only the russian cold air is not enough and we need a mix with humidity from the Atlantic....and that just this is the scenerey prospected by the ECMWF in the medium-long range . Now I am following the GFS run h12....(the 06 was not so good) and then I will wait for the confirm from 12Z ECMWF run.
I know that actually is quite "fresh" also by your side, you are "taking" the consequences of all the cold fronts hitting the Balcans. :-)

My dear Ytzac,I hoped you were able to see some snowflakes in Jerusalem,....:-)).....I immediately thought of you, following those weather maps:the russian HP will send to Europe alot of continental cold air...but we have to see, if it could interest the West Mediterranean area....here in Italy, snow lovers are afraid the cold air will stop to the Balcans....or it could follow a very large "round" going to Spain....the Scand+ index seems good...but you know better than me that we have to wait a pair of days to focus the destiny of the "Russian bear" ;-)
It's always so nice to see you, my friend...when you appear means there are chances of snow, but in any case it's a joy to me hear from you.

Ytzac, you are truly amazing....and know that your words, your wishes, and your friendship have the effect of an authentic blizzard on me. May be I will not see snow this winter,here in Rome, but all these exchanges of opinions about weather, from a side to the other of the Med sea...will make my heart smiling...and this is the most important thing....because it's when we are able to give a smile each other, that we are ready to build a better world.

Dear Ytzak, at the time you left your so hopeful (and nice..) comment on my channel, I was hopeful and joyful too....but as you saw with your eyes, following the changing of the maps....it has been a disaster for us, snowlovers of the middle-western Med sea area....everything will go to Balcans....and actually, I think you have more chaces to enjoy the cold air .... ;-))
The AO index will increase again....SCAND pattern will be negative soon....what can I say....? ECMWF give us some hopes...but arctic cold air from the sea...it's totally different from the cold air coming from Russia and the continent...:-)
