Dave, if I understand you correctly, your top choice for field sharpening is the diamond rod instead of the Lansky Puck. I agree the diamond rod is much lighter, takes up less room and is more versatile. Thanks again for another great vid !

Dave, very nice set up. Most of the gear remains the same with a few changes due to time of year (season) and location. What size/strength of the bank line is suggested?

Mike, I like your mods. Nice set up. The two bowl set up gives you more options. I would still prefer to use the vise grips as a handle. If the clamp you are using for a handle slipped off the rim of the bowl you could easily spill your chow. Just a thought. The small paper clips are a great idea...

Dave, it's great to have you back and to review your vids. Either you have a new PF knife or the one you've been using cleaned up really well.

I hope you will post more of the older vids, especially ones with contents of the larger kits (20 pc and extended stay are a couple I would love to review...

Nice video. just another way to start a fire. Bic lighters may not work due to any number of reasons (out of fuel, cold temps, lost gear, etc) Thanks for sharing !!
