All work & no beer make Homer go something something. LOL
The mans life was defined by hate, every thing he built & accomplished was at the utter ruin of others. Even just taking his actions in New Orleans with his threats of destroying the city himself & ruthless treatment of the population shows far more to despise in his character then to praise.
Personally I find the attempts to gloss over his brutality nauseating which makes trying to keep an open mind
about him difficult.
