No, this is not true! This is a lie of the serbian and croatian propaganda! Alija Izetbegovic was a fighter for a multiethnic bosnian state, before, during and after the war! A few days before his death, in his last tv appereance he said that Bosniaks should stay Bosniaks, Serbs should stay Serbs, Croats Croats, but that all three nations should try to be more Bosnians! And this is the opinion of the majority of Bosniaks.

Hello, is it true that Alija Izetbegovic publicly stated he wanted to have an Islamic state, well before the war started? That could have been somewhat inflammatory towards Orthodox and Catholic Bosnians.
