CR 500 crank unbalance
Made a crank holder where I could test and feel the unbalance of the Honda CR 500 crank. The piston was replaced with a bar that weighted the same.

You did not show how you got the crank in phase before pressing it back together! any idiot with a decent press and some plates can get it apart......the skill is putting it back together so it works!
You would not check the phaes when its all back together...........

hey buddy, if you turn that shit off in the back ground and think about what your saying you might get it right!.........if the deck height is too tight you have to add gasket to make it bigger, not machine the block as you suggest...................!!!!!

you should set the crank up on your vee blocks on the centre bearings and take your DTI to the mag and pto ends.......this is where you measure run out. Where you are taking from will only show any bearing movement as the main pin is not adjustable.........run out shows how true the crank is, or ...

@ chriscraft, water in a cylinder, even a small amount can provent the piston making its full revolution, (hydrolocking) water does not compress beyond its bodily density like air and fuel etc, so the water is compressed into the head, the piston cant make its full travel so the crank pin spins, ...
