Hey guys! Here's something you may not know about me:
When my mom was pregnat with me, she recieved many complications. I was not eating at all, and threw up mostly everything that my mom ate. Not only was this dangerous to me but my mom as well. My mom was dangerously skinny which is obviously very unhealthy for the baby. The doctors tried everything. My mom would go for sonograms every week to make sure I was alright and healthy. But due to the fact that I wasn't eating and my lack of nutrition, I was not growing as fast as I was suppose to and suggested a C-Section a month and a half early to put me into a feeding tube right away to help me grow. But when I was born, they discovered a huge lump in my stomache along with a blood clot on my neck. They immediatly rushed me to the NICU without even letting my family nor my mom see me. I was put on urgent care and went through many C.A.T scans until they figured out that the huge lump in my stomach was a tumor. Fortunatly it was not a cancerous tumor but a dangerous one. They suggested to my mom to prepare a funeral home because they thought I wouldn't even last that day. Despite what the doctors said, my mom wanted all the help that I was able to receieve and I was put on chemotherapy. I was not able to undergo surgery because of the fact that I was a premature and of how small I was. When babies are born a month early, they usually weight about 4-5 pounds, but I nearly weighed 2 pounds. At just a couple days old, I had more tubes sticking out of me than any baby should ever have. I was going to go through surgery at the age of 3 months, when I was a bit bigger and bit healthier. My families always visited the hospital, and always went to church and prayed for me to get better. At 2 months old, I went to get another C.A.T scan to check my tumor and all of a sudden, the doctors couldn't believe their eyes! They couldn't find the tumor at all!! It was gone all by itself. Maybe with the help of chemotherapy but I believe a large impact was because of my family praying for me. I was truely blessed. Despite the fact that I was suppose to be gone from this world the day I was born, 17 years later, I am doing a sport that requires so much physical and mental strength and I'm healthy as ever! Believe it or not, I was truely cured by the name of the Lord. I thank Him and my family espeically my mom for siding with me and supporting me and never losing hope that I was going to make it and grow up to be healthy. I'm so thankful for a wonderful family that will support me through whatever. I love them so much.
I hope that the babies/kids/teens/adults/elderly out there that are losing hope or losing family support, believe that miracles can happen. Pray and anything's possible. May God Bless you all.
