PATENTED POWER
Remember when you wanted to take the muffler off your first car? Everyone knew it was the easiest way to add more power. Nowadays that would be a big mistake if youre rolling with BORLA®. Thanks to our patented technology, BORLA® exhaust systems can actually ADD power, by flowing better than a straight piece of pipe! In fact, winning racers run with BORLA® even when mufflers are not required by the official racing rules.
BORLA's straight-through and multi-core designs increase exhaust velocity to move more air through the engine. Exhaust gases evacuate the cylinder completely, allowing the new charge to come into the cylinder, thereby creating more power. The actual horsepower increase depends upon the fuel management systems ability to provide the right amount of fuel to match the extra air flow, but generally 7 to 15% increases are typical.
