You're not a burden. But I do wonder if you could find the strength within to stop doing things which sabotage your best interests. No one can be there constantly, and caring is about allowing the other the freedom to move away as well as be present. No one can be there all the time. You clearly see these things happen at your own hand, so the power to change it lies there also. My feeling is the aquisition of a little patience and the strength to take a small step back and think before you act could be of great benefit to you.
