Does it work with Ubuntu Linux too?

(I am considering to buy it for the use with a Thinkpad W520...)

@Abrimaal When you set the display in low res mode, you choose 4 colors, but you are still allowed to change one of them in every 8x8 cell. if you choose a color between 8-15, instead of gaining that color, that 8x8 pixel block will be visualized in hires, using as background color the common one...
