NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Imperial 66139) Out of Los Angeles, this majestic production from October of 1965 is the second of three wonderful, Spectorian singles issued by Miss King on the Imperial label. Written By Jerry Riopelle and Gary Zekley and published through Phil Spector's 'Mother Bertha Music', 'Missin' My Baby' is a shimmering, lushly orchestrated jewel of a record that has similar musical elements to that of The Ronettes 1964 release, 'Walking In The Rain'. Recorded at Hollywood's Gold Star Studio with it's iconic, living and breathing echo chamber, the rich 'Wall Of Sound' absolutely spills out of the grooves of this beautiful and rather collectable disc.

NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Imperial 66109) Out of Los Angeles, this 1965 release is the first of three magnificent, Spectorian singles issued by Miss King on the Imperial label. The session was held at Hollywood's legendary Gold Star Studio with it's iconic echo chamber out front and center. Jerry Riopelle's gargantuan production was so impressive to Gold Star engineer, Larry Levine, that he played the tape of the tune for Phil Spector himself. Spector wasted no time in bringing Riopelle on board at Philles Records from from the summer of 1965 throughout 1966.
From June of 1965, watch Clydie King and The Blosoms perform 'The Thrill Is Gone' on T.V.'s 'Shindig!': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1FsGQ...

NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Roulette 4709) Out of New York, a fantastic double-sider issued in 1966. 'Can't Stop Lovin' The Boy' explodes right from the start with a thundering 'Wall Of Sound' arrangement by Artie Butler. An exceptionally attractive female quartet, The Carolines consisted of soulful lead vocalist, Carell Mancuso along with the sweet harmonic backing vocals of Sylvia Torres and Evie & Pat Patane. They would issue one more single in 1968 on dynoVoice as The Little Bits featuring Karyl Mann, a cover of 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore).
