If it was I thought that it was very good as it is one of the best ever Noggin Sagas.

You are right, yes this kind of thing may be all well and good for those who are 'less able bodied' (my own term) or maybe even perhaps those who are still quite young, but it is not a good thing for those of us (I'm an Aspie myself) who aren't for the very reasons you have stated.

As it happens...

I happen to have a few mates who have special needs (one of whom has just lately ended up being my girlfriend) and hence I have enjoyed what I have seen of the this show so far.

How do you acount for the fact that the Robinson's set off on their voyage in 1997 while Kirk and co are from the 23nd century?

I like the way Mrs Robinson (who is not only the greatest homemaker in space but also a Doctor, shh don't tell any 1960s censers about that one by the way) kiss's her kids before they go into suspended animation as it sets the tone for the characher right from the very start.

I must confess that although I thought that this show could have been better, the voices were spot on to how I've imagined them to be from the comics (barring Sondar who I've always felt sounded more like a Mr Spock than the voice he was given in the show) which was why I watched it on C5
