I got to meet Laura and she told me that the lyric of this song that won her over was: "que con mis piedras hacen ellas su pared," meaning "that with my stones they build their wall." It gave her shivers and made her want to record this song after a friend showed it to her.

I'm a fan of both these ladies but Laura's version is the best, hands down. She gives it the raw emotion they lyrics call for. I know the original was by the songwriter, Jennifer Rush, but I could never really get into her interpretation.
