The Enterprise has always and always will be a type 2 cruiser.( type 2 is a Cruiser with saucer, neck, and stardrive sections and two nacelles) Type 1 is just saucer section with two nacelles. Type three is saucer and stardrive sections with three or more nacelles.

They could have made the Enterprise in this movie look a little more like the original one. I know it has to look better with the better graphics these days, but this Enterprise looks nothing like Kirk's.

So how many of those ships are real? 24 out of 31. Dont question me on this, I love star trek for the ships mostly.
