Boondawgle is a jam band that tends toward classic rock and originals. We really appreciate any ratings or comments so please don't be shy. Heck, its a rock n roll fiasco! We play in and around Milwaukee Wisconsin.

If you are interested in any of the full album covers, you may want to consider going through the playlists. Most recently we did Master of Reality by Black Sabbath. There is the Dark Side of the Moon and Sgt. Peppers as well. I have yet to figure out what to do about The Wall' footage
About Me:

Hmmm. Well, How about a quick history? Mike, Phil, Will and Joe started playing together in 1999. Mike and Joe had gone to school together and had been jamming together prior to that point. Mike worked with Willy. Joe had jammed with Willy a few times as a drummer at a house on 4-mile road in racine. Phil was introduced to us through a mutual friend. In this formation Mike and Joe would switch between bass and guitar for two of the sets and a third set had Willy on the bass while Mike and Joe traded carniverous riffs. The first gig was at a bar called southbound in oak creek on Feb 25, 2000. The name of the band at that point was actually 'The Smudgers'. We changed to Boondawgle pretty much right after that gig.

Bob joined us in 2002. Bob had also previously played with Willy at the house on 4-mile road. As a five piece, Bob, Mike and Joe each took a set on Bass guitar with Will even playing bass on a couple to give an over the top 3 guitar attack. We could have called this band Shifting Bottom. Check out Flipside, Bundle and the cover of Godzilla, for a taste of this era.

Early in 2003 we were in the studio recording originals. Bear, She's Gone, Never Got Enough and a few others were worked out. Then we decided to cover the entire Dark Side Of The Moon album (check the playlist) at Fungus Fest as a five piece. It was alot of fun and thus began our "project" outlook at doing fewer gigs, but with more anticipation and freshness.

In 2006, after taking a break we performed Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band with Mike, Joe, Phil, Will and Jeff (check the playlist). Mike took a break after Fungus Fest, Boondawgle regrouped as a four piece kid's meal with J,P,W & B in time for Halloween.

In 2007, Bob, Willy, Joe and Phil were joined again by Mike and continued.

Jeff sat in again with the Bob, Willy, Joe, Phil And Mike configuration in 2007 for Fungus Fest, singing Hot Smoke And Sassafrass, Break On Through and the incendiary Immigrant Song. The torrential rainstorm that occured that afternoon left puddles in Kansasville for over a year. The scene under the tarp was chaotic to say the least, with the whole thing tearing and soaking everything after we escaped. I'm surprised how that crazyness isn't really seen on the video (check the playlist).

After Halloween 07, we took a break, and again rose from the ashes to cover Pink Floyd The Wall in October of 2008 along with a set of new covers and originals. I have yet to figure out how to present the practice and show footage.

We have been pretty busy in 2009 mostly trying to keep new material in the mix so those of you who come to see us over and over don't get bored. Well, its so we don't get bored also. Most of the events were taped but editing them down takes time.

Halloween 2009 found as again at the Wildlife Refuge. This time around we played the Master of Reality album by Black Sabbath. (Check the playlist).

In 2011 we took on The Who's Tommy in a new venue after the Wildlife Refuge closed. Those videos can all be found here.

2012 will likely find us changing out songs and maybe a new original or two.

Really dig your playing. Well done! Again, do some Zappa. You guys are obviously talented enough to cover some of his tunes. "Dirty Love" and "My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Momma" come to mind.
I await with baited breath...due to the anchovies i just ate.
