i have been making music my whole life, started singing immediatly and started playing guitar when i was 12 and mandolin when i was 14. my musical tastes began with listening to bluegrass at a young age (NEW GRASS REVIVAL!!) and i loved laurie lewis, alison krauss...all the leading ladies in bluegrass. i also listened to country music growing up, then got into musical theatre in high school and LOVE everything broadway. saw patti lupone in GYPSY in NYC! i went to South Plains College in Levelland, TX where i got my commercial music degree in mandolin and voice. i had the privilege of studying under Joe Carr, Alan Munde and Rusty Hudelson. after college i began to listen to pop music for the first time in my life and really enjoying it and love singing the songs. so i created this page for the sole purpose of posting all the songs i will never play with my country and bluegrass bands but still loved learning. ENJOY!
