I'm a vlogger, author and journalist as well as the founder of the pop culture site Grrl.com. From 1996-2001 I hosted a video show on Web Waste channel for the now defunct @Home Network called "Ask Bonnie." I answered viewer emails on everything to do with Pop Culture (ukuleles, cowboys, troll dolls, UFOs, bad food, ghosts, etc.)
Sometimes a sock puppet named @Sock would stand in for me (though it really is me -- just as a sock puppet) when I wasn't up to being on camera. Hence "Ask @Sock."
I'm also the author of the drawing book "You Can Draw: Star Wars" and another book called "Never Threaten to Eat Your Co-Workers: Best of Blogs." And I've written the magazines Geek Monthly, BUST, Star Wars Insider and Wired. I also was a VJ for "Teletunes" (Denver) and "Subculture" (San Francisco). Now my dayjob is for Lucasfilm.
