something I've noticed about all of these videos fro songs like this is people play it exactly as it's written, this is a lvoe song... stylize it! watch the movie, there's no tempo, no time signature, no structure, just pure emotion for his father. Good tone though for the era.

wPHao, to work on that high range, you should do lip slurs... i start on a note, skip a partial in the position, then slur down the ocatve... an go as high as you can ever day! that works wonderfully.
