Regarding Dimitri Khalezov: I haven't seen any hard evidence, only a lot of speculation regarding the nuke theory. It is certainly possible, but a geiger counter should still be able to detect the decay of nuclear isotopes in the dust, or on the steel or other debris that still exists, if a nuclear event occured. I haven't seen any scientific studies that have performed the appropriate tests, so it seems like speculation to me. If you know of any hard science (published paper, or online paper) by someone who has performed these tests, please let me know.

What does appear to have very solid evidence by multiple independent analyses is the nanothermite that was found in the dust. This also seems consistent with other visual evidence prior to collapse and after collapse.
