Preaching the gospel = witnessing about the power of God that changes people so that they will get saved. Salvation happens after people turn their thoughts to the Lord for Him to change them, and after they repent from sin. They then get born again by the Holy Spirit and are set free from being dominated by sin. I also address false doctrine, because Jesus explained that half of us so-called Christians will not be saved (Matthew 25:1-12).
