„Deşteaptă-te, române!" este, din 1990, imnul naţional al României. Muzica are autor necunoscut. Versurile şi aranjamentul aparţin lui Andrei Mureşanu (1816 - 1863), poet de factură romantică, ziarist, traducător, un adevărat tribun al epocii marcate de Revoluţia de la 1848.
Poemul „Un răsunet" al lui Andrei Mureşanu, redactat şi publicat în timpul Revoluţiei de la 1848, a fost pus pe note în ziua în care autorul l-a recitat câtorva prieteni braşoveni, fiind cântat pentru prima oară la Braşov, într-o grădină din Şchei, şi nu în data de 29 iulie 1848 la Râmnicu Vâlcea, aşa cum este îndeobşte cunoscut.
VERSURI: Deşteaptă-te, române, din somnul cel de moarte, În care te-adânciră barbarii de tirani Acum ori niciodată croieşte-ţi altă soarte, La care să se-nchine şi cruzii tăi duşmani. Acum ori niciodată să dăm dovezi în lume Că-n aste mâni mai curge un sânge de roman, Şi că-n a noastre piepturi păstrăm cu fală-un nume Triumfător în lupte, un nume de Traian. Înalţă-ţi lata frunte şi cată-n giur de tine, Cum stau ca brazi în munte voinicii sute de mii; Un glas ei mai aşteaptă şi sar ca lupi în stâne, Bătrâni, bărbaţi, juni, tineri, din munţi şi din câmpii. Priviţi, măreţe umbre, Mihai, Ştefan, Corvine, Româna naţiune, ai voştri strănepoţi, Cu braţele armate, cu focul vostru-n vine, "Viaţă-n libertate ori moarte" strigă toţi. Pre voi vă nimiciră a pizmei răutate Şi oarba neunire la Milcov şi Carpaţi Dar noi, pătrunşi la suflet de sfânta libertate, Jurăm că vom da mâna, să fim pururea fraţi. O mamă văduvită de la Mihai cel Mare Pretinde de la fii-şi azi mână d-ajutori, Şi blastămă cu lacrămi în ochi pe orişicare, În astfel de pericul s-ar face vânzători. De fulgere să piară, de trăsnet şi pucioasă, Oricare s-ar retrage din gloriosul loc, Când patria sau mama, cu inima duioasă, Va cere ca să trecem prin sabie şi foc. N-ajunge iataganul barbarei semilune, A cărui plăgi fatale şi azi le mai simţim; Acum se vâră cnuta în vetrele străbune, Dar martor ne e Domnul că vii nu o primim. N-ajunge despotismul cu-ntreaga lui orbie, Al cărui jug de seculi ca vitele-l purtăm; Acum se-ncearcă cruzii, cu oarba lor trufie, Să ne răpească limba, dar morţi numai o dăm. Români din patru unghiuri, acum ori niciodată Uniţi-vă în cuget, uniţi-vă-n simţiri. Strigaţi în lumea largă că Dunărea-i furată Prin intrigă şi silă, viclene uneltiri. Preoţi, cu crucea-n frunte căci oastea e creştină, Deviza-i libertate şi scopul ei preasfânt. Murim mai bine-n luptă, cu glorie deplină, Decât să fim sclavi iarăşi în vechiul nost'pământ.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a 2008 adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, executive produced by George Lucas and starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. Set in 1957, this fourth film in the Indiana Jones film series has an older and wiser version of Indy battling agents of the Soviet Union—led by Spalko (Cate Blanchett)—for the crystal skull. Indy is assisted by his former lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) as well as the greaser Mutt (Shia LaBeouf) and fellow archaeologist Mac (Ray Winstone). John Hurt and Jim Broadbent also play fellow academics.
The film was in development hell since the 1989 release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, because Spielberg and Ford initially disagreed over Lucas's choice of the skulls as the plot device. Screenwriters Jeb Stuart, Jeffrey Boam, M. Night Shyamalan, Frank Darabont and Jeff Nathanson wrote drafts, before a script by David Koepp satisfied all three men in 2006. Shooting finally commenced on June 18, 2007, and took place at locations in New Mexico, New Haven, Connecticut, Hawaii, Fresno, California, and soundstages in Los Angeles. In order to keep aesthetic continuity with the previous films, there will be minimal use of computer-generated imagery and more of a reliance on traditional stuntwork, and cinematographer Janusz Kaminski has adapted his style to that of Douglas Slocombe from the previous films.
Marketing will rely heavily on the public's nostalgia for the series, with products taking inspiration from all four films. Anticipation for the film resulted in a legal dispute over an extra violating his non-disclosure agreement, and another man was arrested for stealing a computer containing various documents related to the project. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 22, 2008
