Biology student. Science and Reason is the way to go. What else can i say.. I don't make videos as i lack the necessary skills, but i certainly love to interact with both RATIONAL theists as well as fellow freethinkers.
I have a rather personal relation with science as I am thankful to have parents who defend the scientific method. Growing up in Labs, as a kid a started from early age to doubt the cruel and unfair doctrine behind religion in general and catholicism in particular.
Why am I an atheist? Because Science, though not 100% accurate (as nothing can be exactly 100% accurate) gives a much better explanation in describing our origins and 'humanness" than an ancient, cruel and draconian fairytale. Other things that opened my eyes were the realization that the core of religious belief were/are the incredibly bigoted, perverse and inconsistent stories told in the "holy book". That is something that I, as a moral human being, cannot and will not buy.
HOWEVER, as cruel and sick as some of the stories in the bible are, there are actually beautiful and nice things to learn. (not gonna deny that)
I used to be a devout christian, even with educated and literate people as my parents but the turning point was when I realized the fallacies of religion and voiced (at that time) my agnosticism. I was "beaten" and shunned by my extended family. If god was truly full of love and compassion, such a thing would have never happened.
Also, I try to not debate ignorant and uneducated Christian trolls who can't correctly describe basic scientific principles or even spell their own language for that matter. (HAH and this is from someone who acquired english as a third language)
so If you happen do be one of those, don't even bother because honestly, I don't give a flying fuck about imbeciles like you.
