@player1diao No it's not. Paris air show 1973. TU 144 crashed and burned. Concorde actually went into commercial service and didn't need afterburners ALL THE TIME to achieve mach 2

@AgentPeak82 Absolute crap. Do you work for Air France? That's their excuse. So 747's should be grounded too because they too were rolled out in the tail end of the 60's? Concorde was more advanced than you know pal. It was all down to politics and cost. Mostly bloody airbus though.

Awesome. For those that say it was too noisy...It was too noisy for a second or two. The car alarms were too noisy for much longer :)

Thank you so much for sharing this. I recently sat in DG at Brooklands and agree that it is criminal that these magnificent machines are now museum pieces. Perhaps one day one will be back in the air where it belongs along with the Vulcan....
