the most poignant part for me in this scene, is not Elena and Damon in the bed, it's how Elena tells Damon, that Stefan won't come back because he loves her, but because he loves his brother. That struck the deepest chord, especially becaue Damon didn't even try to deny it. They've been brothers ...
