Just visiting your channel to say I'm glad you liked Toni's BEST FRIEND.....yeah, I remember when her 1st album came out. She had all those slow R&B grooves and those were good, but BEST FRIEND was the realy sparkler and my personal fave. Anyway, when I got to your channel I'm looking at your most recent comment about READ IT IN MY EYES. You state that it's hard to describe what you mean. Trust me, my friend....I know exactly what you mean. It's the same thing that makes THROUGH THE FIRE, and so many others so great.

This READ IT IN MY EYES just incapsulates every facet of a true love song. Just the melody, the instrumentation, the arrangement, composition, emphasis of feeling.....I don't know, after that point itis hard to describe. I listen to it every day, and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye. I think that is the true test.

Wow!! I am honored to have passed on READ IT IN MY EYES to someone who would make it an instant all time fave!!!! Just love reading that in your bio!!! It IS a gem of a song, in the same vein as Chaka's THROUGH THE FIRE. I love the bridge "if you're ever insecure, etc".......goosebump stuff!!! On to the next topic, I remember reading The Scarlet Pimpernel long before it was ever a show. That particular Eder/Bryson tune was one that I used to hear overhead when I worked in a grocery store. It had some mild EZ listening airplay. They just don't make songs like that anymore. I remember it was spring of 1992 when I first heard it.

I've been a soap fan since I was a kid. Words cannot even express how close to my heart soaps are. I currently only follow One Life To Live. As upset as I am about it's demise (or switch to online), I'm more upset about the seemingly declining stature of soaps as a genre. There's no more new ones being created. It's very sad. For years, they've been criticized, but there's really good writing and acting and storytelling there that you don't find on these butcher-esque prime-time crime shows that are sometimes nothing more than soft porn. If at least one soap lasts, I'll probably switch to it just to remain faithful to the genre. Sorry about the babbling, it's very close to my heart

I am having an awful lot of problems with this site and I'm hoping it's not the computer I'm on. It won't play videos from the Vevo channels and it won't let me email unless I click about 3 times. Then it won't confirm that I'm sending them. So, just for the record, today I emailed you another Patti/James song, a Jen Hudson tune, and a Gloria Estefan classic.

Yes, MrC...I am receiving everything sent from YouTube pages. I am experiencing same problem on this end...no conform.
