Bob Gluck is a highly intuitive pianist and composer, offering a broad sonic palate where lyricism and abstraction find a shared home. He has been described as an inheritor of the traditions of Cecil Taylor, Andrew Hill, Paul Bley, and Don Pullen, sensitive to the pastoral and pensive aspects of impressionism and late romanticism.
