I began studying piano at the age of 6, continuing intensely throughout high school. At the age of 14 I was able to become a student of Dr. Silvio Scionti of the North Texas University School of Music. I followed a completely different path at the university level, eventually becoming an academic economist with wide-ranging interests and work in that field. Throughout my life, however, love of and interests in art (and art history) and music were always satisfied to some degree. My personal goal is to progress on the piano and to enjoy it for as long as possible.
