Bobby, I have been playing drums for the last 25 years on and off (wife and kids tend to get in the way of us non-professionals) and have always been a big fan of Fates Warning, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Rush and the like. I've progressed from my influences being Nicko McBrain and Neil Peart to more along the lines of your predecessor with Fates, Mark Zonder, and Mike Mangini. The one thing I love is how by having the Hi-Hats and ride cymbal on your left you are able to access the whole kit. Gary Chester was always a big advocate of this and now I see why. Lots of work on the drum pad to strengthen the left hand, but it seems to be working out. Thanks again.

I remember when it was first mentioned that you were going to be doing drums with FW.....then I heard you were going to record with them, which turn out to be Arch / Matheos....I posted on a blog that this was going to be awesome. I felt there was no other drummer ( except maybe an old friend of mine Pat McGrath!!!) that would do the Band justice. Well soon after People chimed in.." Bobby is a great Metal drummer but Prog Metal is not the same...he isn't going to be able to compare to the past drummers!" ...and many more just like it. I STAY QUIET......WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE.... WAITING FOR THE DAY THAT YOU RELEASED THESE TRACKS!!!! I just want to say that I am at a loss for words as to how F'in bad ass you did on this CD!!! Thanks for everything you brought to this band and now I will grab my beer.....crank some music and laugh at those who doubted!!!!!!!!!!!!!
