Trader-Beach Boys-Cover by Kayla Williams
I seriously LOVE this song, and I know I say that for most of these songs but I seriously love this song...
What makes your covers SO good - there are many things, but here is one: You always capture the spiritual essence of the music. Music speaks to our spirits and is I believe an essentially spiritual medium. I think Carl and Brian would agree. Brilliant work Kayla, as always. Thank you!

The 5th Dimension - Wedding Bell Blues
The Age of Aquarius
Terrific arrangement. Check out the background vocals at 1:01, that nice upward line which is then picked up by the French horns. Great stuff throughout.

The Sunrays - I Live For The Sun
The Sunrays - I Live For The Sun - Tower Records, great song thats very upbeat and is just great!
It's got that peculiar mid-60's stereo mix, vocals left and everything else right. Brian would have cut it in mono at that point in time.

Lucia Popp - Strauss' Vier Letzte Lieder - Fruhling
Lucia Popp sings the first of Strauss' Four Last Songs.
1977. Conductor: Georg Solti.
I am especially fond of the recording of the Four Last Songs that she made with MTT in 1993...her last recording as I understand it. Her and MTT were really on the same page, the orchestra is just sumptuous, and Popp is brilliant.
