This is my 08 sportster that started life as a stock nightster. it's been through so many changes but i think i'm finally happy with it. lets see if i can actually list everything as it sits currently:
-motor was broken down and powdercoated
-relocated the front blinkers (which i'm gonna chop in a bit further)
-removed the mirrors and front fender
-relocated the speedo,
-installed some biltwell keystone bars w/ old school grips (blacked out the chrome ring with some good 'ole electrical tape)
-rattle canned the gas cap and headlight trim ring
-fishboy top clamp
-black diamond braided control cables
-west eagle 11.5" by 13" solo seat rigid mounted w/ rubber bushings
-power commander III
-V&H exhaust (prolly change these out this winter)
-arlen ness big sucker II (this thing blows more oil than fonzy's old ironhead, they suck!)
-hd forward controls
-removed the belt guard (front pulley cover coming off soon too)
-chopped the rear fender struts about 7"-8" off ea. side, moved the rear lights and removed the stalks
-chopped about 20" off the front of the rear fender including the mud flap and rolled it forward so i can use the existing rear fender mount holes (new rear fender this winter also).
-relocated my ecm under the battery cover but completely redid it by adding an 1/8" of metal all the way around it to make room. (thanks bill, can't tell the fucking difference).
-relocated the giant connector that tethers the pcIII to the ecm behind the oil bag (not visible in video)
-installed progressive 412 heavies
-relocated the license plate
i think that's about it. debating on whether or not to move the coil and tuck the wires. they really don't bother me where they are currently or how they look. it doesn't really take away from the overall look of the bike so fuck it. i'm sure this winter i'll be busy so it'll prolly get moved but i'm ridin' it for now. tank will be repainted this winter as well but i have so many ideas just not sure which way i want to go with it. new rear fender coming this off season too which will be mounted to the swingarm so i can slam it a half in. off the tire and never worry about rubbin'. also debating trading my spokes to a guy for some mags and powdercoating them black of course. thanks also to all the forum members who blazed a grinding trail before me and offered some great tips and advise as well as inspiration. hdforums, xlforums and chop cult are awesome social and technical websites i learned a lot from so check them out. thanks for lookin' and actually reading this far if you did!

NJMP Thunderbolt Raceway on 8-9-10. This is only my 3rd track day and last session of the day in White Group. Got bumped to intermediate on my next track day at NJMP Lightning. FF to 2:28 when I FINALLY get waved out.

i have a nigtster myself and i was wanting to put ape hangers on it. but i wasnt sure if i hate to get new throtle and clutch cables along with the brake line? did you have to?
