I'm Brooke, but affectionately known as Bee by my dear friends. Blunt Rook is a name I created for myself, in conjunction with a friend's nickname and my blunt personality.
I'm a proud artist, cosplayer, gamer, geek and recreational kick-boxer. I hope you enjoy my bluntness and my strange sense of humor, although I really couldn't care any less if you do or don't.
And yes, I'm deaf, but I wear hearing aids and read lips (it's my superpower). I try my best to communicate and survive in this world. Yes, I don't speak perfectly, and I'm not exactly perfect... but neither are you. Being jaded with the world at a young age has provided me with plenty of unique perspectives, observations and opportunities.
See, I believe in the truth, no matter how harsh it may be, because in the end, it is the only way. But a lot of people forget how to tell the truth... and inevitably, they get lost in their web of lies. For that matter, I believe in being exactly yourself, even if it's strange, unorthodox or weird. Or all three. It's better to be happier in life than to strive for something you're not happy to be.

@ASL8306 : The scene where I am trying to avoid someone is how I prank people sometimes - I use ASL, a language that (sadly) not very many hearing people learn on their own/choose to, as a way to get out of situations like this.
